Frogamazog doesn't need very much to run. All it needs it 750k free RAM, and 415k disk space. 265 colors is HIGHLY recommended; 16 is bad and it will REALLY fail in black and white. I haven't found any bugs except that the Frog sometimes leaves an image of himself behind. I've tried to fix it but I can't find the cause. Oh well. Frogamazog ran fine on my 6360 Performa, fine on my parent's 475 Performa, and fine on our school's LC, so I think it will run smoothly on just about any color mac.
PLAYING THE GAME
You control the Frog by using the keypad. 4 is left and 6 is right. The Frog is supposed to be slow to react; it's not that easy to control yourself when you're being swept quickly downstream! The purpose of Frogamazog is to collect the bits of wood and dodge the rocks. You have 3 lives when you start out but their are goodies that give you more. There is also a Speed goodie that makes Frog move faster. After you collect 10 bits of wood you move on to the next level, where the rocks move faster. I don't know what's past level 6 cause I've never gotten there!
ABOUT FROGAMAZOG
Frogamazog was just a random idea at an arcade game that formed inside my head one day. I was absolutely bored sick of space/alien shoot'em ups, so I decided to make something different. Frogamazog offers a breath of fresh air in a market where blast'em games rules supreme. I'm not saying it's better, oh no. I'm just saying its ORIGINAL.
So... if you like Frogamazog, or even if you don't, I REEEALLY love to get e-mail. Contact us a 'Tree Feral@AOL.Com' and I'll give you... uh, well, my gratitude anyway. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE
